BOMBER TAIL B-24 LIBERATOR

While landing on the sea surface the airplane started to break apart. The tail has separated from the main body and became another dive spot. It is situated on the rock bottom, which improves visibility. On it you can see a tail gun and two browing guns 12.7 mm.This dive is recommended to divers with an advanced level certification. Depth : 41 m

FRONT SIDE OF THE B-24 LIBERATOR No. 251559 BOMBER

It is great to dive on the huge wreck that lies on the bottom of the sea. Although in a bad condition it is still possible to see the wings with four big engines. The bomber has revolved and lies on the opposite side, which is the reason why you can see its wheels and a big white star on its left wing bearing the wording “USA AF”. Fishermen nets that did from time to time came in contact with the wreck, damaged it. Unfortunately, the visibility is worse then on the tail site, thing you can see from the pictures. A diving position for advanced divers. Depth: 51 m

MFP F 625

Shipwreck of a MFP F 625 of the Naval Landing Crafts (Marinefährprahm) The British torpedo boats sank the ship on 12th October, 1944. The wreck lies in an upside down position on the sea bottom and presents one hole caused by shell of the torpedo. On the side of the boat, a little truck fell from the twisted ship. The truck is completely destroyed. This shipwreck is rich of fish. The visibility is very good. The shipwreck is 50 m long and 6.5 m wide. It is placed at a depth of 52 m. Only for experienced divers.
