| This weekend was really exciting. We were diving 4 days, from Thursday till Sunday. The weather was great so we enjoyed the summer time. The sea temperature was 20 C and we didn't have to wear our diving suits for swimming . We dived on the Kornati islands and local sites. We were accompanied by our dear friends from Austria, Peter and his friends from TSC Tauchsportclub Mürztal-Austria. They had a marvellous time. It was a real pleasure spending time with them. While we were diving, there was an OWD course going on in our centre. They managed to join us the last day and they finally discovered the beauty of the deep sea. It was so interesting.... | Dear friends, After a few decades we' ve decided to see a big aircraft that it's been lying on the sea bottom for almost 60 years and it's actually forgotten. During the last 3 months my friends and I have decided to do a small research on this. Thanks to our desire and persistence and many hours spent in the sea and at home on the Internet we've managed to find out from the type of the aircraft, the area we believed it was situated to every single detail related to the flight, crew, mission and the unfortunate crash into the sea back in 1944. Nevertheless, this wreck is well-known and from the early 1970s many divers have dived here thousand times, but nobody knew what kind of aircraft it was and even more how it ended on the bottom of the sea. The wreck was discovered accidentally after it had been hooked on the fishing net. My friend Sime Lisica and I Venci Lonic are writing this fantastic story. It is the story about the fate of the bomber b-24 liberator and soon you will be able to read it on this web. A lot of photos have been taken and soon the small video clip will be put on. | Diving for the 1st of May
Our dear friends from Slovenia from diving club Adriana DC Kranj.Four days of diving followed by beautiful weather, nice spots, a lot of sun and quiet sea. We have dived in the area of island Dugi Otok, island Iz and in the National park of Kornati. We have had a lot of fun and did relax ourselves indeed. Please look at the pictures… |
